KAGAN STRATEGIES IN ROOM 10

Throughout the year, students in Room 10 use cooperative strategies within their learning. These strategies assist students during the collaborative sessions within their Learning teams. The strategies used are based on Kagan Collaborative skills. Here are some examples used by the students in Room 10.

Students using the strategy 'INSIDE, OUTSIDE CIRCLE'.
This was used to discuss their personal ideas about Global Warming.

After their discussion on Global Warming outside the classroom, the students then came back into the classroom and wrote all the different points about their topic in dot form on their individual white boards.

After a set amount of time, the students then used the strategy of 'Show Down' and displayed their answers for discussion to the other members within their collaborative group.
